Deadspin seems to be more interesting in the drama and politics surrounding sports figures, than on the sports themselves. While I believe those topics have their place in sports journalism, the fact that this is all they’ve been covering regarding boxing, is sad.

Because there is a difference between the man inside the ring and the one outside. Mayweather outside the ring is a scumbag; but inside he is a great strategist, with a ridiculously effective style built on centuries worth of refinement. Hell, he didn’t even face Manny until he was way below his peak. That’s one great

Casuals don’t see the sport the same way hardcore fans do, literally. They just don’t understand it. I was also new to it at some point, and have many friends who only watch the big fights. They also can’t differentiate between the man inside the ring, and outside of it. And when it’s politically charged, then it’s

Hah, good one. Look at all of them crying about you “crying”.

I already mentioned that he never achieved a high rank on any martial art. He trained with Yip Man and other high ranking WC masters, right, but he never got far in ranking. Plain and simple.

Skin their faces and put them on chest plates.

He wasn’t a Wing Chun instructor. He never reached high ranking training in Wing Chung. Mainly due to the racism in the WC scene at the time.

Now playing

You’re right, but Lee is a bad example. Try Mayweather Jr instead (@3:17 look at the way he opens his eyes wide, using his peripherals to see his opponent’s punches):

Bruce Lee was just an actor with sweet natural athleticism that never got tested, on anyone worth the time.

He’s right. Using your peripheral vision is an advance technique in boxing, and other martial arts, to “predict” your opponents moves.

I think this is interesting. Using your peripheral vision is also a technique used in Boxing, and other martial arts, to be able to see your opponent’s moves before they get to you.

Well Batman’s never been afraid of using lethal weapons on “robots”. He also used a radion bullet on Darkseid. But yes, he has no business going toe to toe with the AM.

I’m not going to defend DiDio, but that article regarding Batwoman proves nothing. You can wishfully think it means what you want, to fulfill whatever political agenda you might have, but there’s nothing concrete there. Disconnected from their audience? More than likely.

That’s right. You know it, bitch.

Are you really so stupid that you think that you can just “write a book and sell it on Amazon”...? Or write a song and just “sell it on iTunes”? Lmao! Oh man, you’re a trip! You honestly think it’s that simple! It’s official. You are the dumbest guy I’ve argued with here.

I’ve done work for Lands of Lore: Horn of the Fox, a persistent world for Neverwinter Nights (mid 00’s, not the current one). Mostly tweaking the crafting system and custom quests. I miss that game. You might be able to still find it compiled as a hakpak on the Neverwinter Vault or other places.

No. They didn’t just make them into a game... these companies picked them up because of their quality mod work. Hell, Garry’s Mod still makes him money. It’s just another valid way to do this.

Valve owns the servers. They cost money. They also give the exposure most other websites can’t give. That’s worth money.

Says who? Another guy who made something small? Great, you did it for fun. Guess what? The world doesn’t revolve around your reasons. Maybe you should tell that to the modders who first made Counter Strike, Team Fortress, Garry’s Mod, Day Z., etc. Those who actually earned their way in by making mods. Just cause you

No shit, and everyone who writes or makes music knows it’s the same... that was obviously my point.
