why don’t they stick the new official in a booth and s/he reviews every god damn play and buzzers down when the on-field crew got it wrong, eliminating 75% of the review time and the need for coaches to only be allowed to challenge 2-3 plays/game when the officials are fucking morons and get shit wrong 10 times/game

i don’t think people are put off by the job availability, per se, it sounds more like the fact they had to pay $65-105 just to find this limited job availability plus apparently multiple organizations didn’t show.
