That’s a fair point! Well, for professional environments at least. Number 4 should probably be reserved for people you know fairly well and who are comfortable with you. In that case, lightly touching the arm or shoulder of a friend or family member is fine.
I was wondering if that had an impact in how people were responding to this as well, how we all view these situations rolling out in our minds.
