Isn't Kesha signed to Dr. Luke's label directly? So wouldn't this not actually help her?

I agree with others that it happens to women more often. I am quick to smile, even when I was younger and in customer service jobs. If I didn't smile people thought I was rude, but when I did smile, men took it as a personal invitation. It didn't help that in my early 20s I looked really young. Many saw it as an

Lee Pace/Me/Richard Armitage. But that might make me a creep.

It was a great show. I watched the whole thing for free on Hulu. Is it not still there? The commercials were annoying as hell but the quality was good.

I saw that! It was that Shakespeare Retold series, though it was from 2005. It had Keeley Hawes as Lady Macbeth and Richard Armitage as Macduff. It was a fun watch.

I totally agree on Richard Armitage, he was so creepy and sad and amazing.

I went to a pretty liberal public school I guess. We read Black Boy too, I'm pretty sure. I don't remember that quite as crystal clearly as Handmaid's Tale. I read that at the exact right age to make a huge impression. I think I'm due for a reread of both!

Aw, really? I read it in high school - pretty sure it was an option on the summer reading list where I went. It's a great book, highly recommend!!

Not famous for being Chet Haze's brother?

I work at a large public US university. It really depends on the major and discipline. In programs like business there are a ton of presentations and group work, because those are the competencies employers value. They write papers too, though probably not as many as history majors. In the several institutions I've

Yeah, if they had kept to the book the dwarves would have been cartoons. It would have been nice to have more Bilbo but exploring Thorin's motivations and backstory wasn't a mistake.

I agree completely. There were obvious pacing and planning issues, but there were some really good performances - Gandalf, Bilbo and Thorin especially. I thought Thorin was particularly good in the last one (maybe because Richard Armitage had more to prove?).

Tag teaming Richard Armitage is a pretty glorious way to consummate a relationship.

With Hannibal fanfiction, that'd be the least of it. I've seen some things, man…

We're truly living in a golden age.

I thought the lame and self indulgent part was deliberate for their characters. Like these are the lame guys that even in a life or death scenario couldn't turn off the music snob inside.

Definitely. I love Shaun of the Dead too, but it isn't quite as densely packed. I've only seen The World's End once, but the structure at least makes it seem like there would be more to notice on multiple watches.

Hot Fuzz really blossoms upon further viewings. The more I see it the more I like it. Animal House definitely doesn't work that way.

Yes!!
