Wow! That's definitely a better use of the time! Very cool!

Yes, I just want baseball to stop taking my life hostage!
Watching the band at halftime was always more entertaining than the actual football games during high school and college. Baseball needs fewer innings and more bands!
Haha Paul Rudd would make everything better!
Yep, talk about bread and circuses. Ugh that is a metric shit-ton of money.
And the fact that baseball season is over HALF the year?! Shoot me now!
Thank you! So glad to hear I'm not alone on this!
Haha well swap blue for orange and black, and we're pretty much dealing with the same crowd. If only Animal Planet broadcasted a puppy World Series, like it does for the Super Bowl! Alas...
Any SF Jezzies here who don't give a crap about baseball, or sports in general? I feel like such a traitor since my relatives are die-hard Giants fans and my grandfather was even a Giants announcers decades ago. I'm just so tired of all the social media and water cooler talk that I'm secretly hoping that they lose the…
Thanks! I'm gonna need a second stomach to make room for everything I should try!
Thanks for the suggestion! I'm certainly not above doing "touristy" things! If people are going to give me a hard time about wanting to see the Statue of Liberty or Central Park, then screw them!
I'll be there!!! It will be my first time visiting NYC! I have loved Hedwig ever since I studied the song "Origin of Love" in one of my ancient Greek literature classes in college. I'm so psyched to see it performed live!
Glad to hear it's great all the way through! I love being a fly on the wall in this story!
Yay! I'm so excited!!!
I cannot wait for Yes Please! I loved Bossypants and Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?, and I've been looking forward to another female comedic memoir. Fingers crossed Amy Poelher narrates the audiobook!
Thank you!!! On my own blog, I posted a similar diatribe that has received plenty of positive response: http://bookclubbabe.net/2013/03/30/why… Shameless plug, I know, but it feels so good to know that we are not alone!
This is a great topic. I find that even though no one wants to be considered cheap by their friends, once one person suggests frugality, others are quick to join. Be that person to speak up, and you'll realize that saving money is on everyone's minds. Sure, we all love to act like bottle service and designer shopping…
Get on the YNAB bandwagon even earlier than I did. I'm 25 with no debt, a full emergency fund, and almost $10k in retirement, and it was because YNAB is the best budgeting tool out there! Not a spokesperson, just a big fan!
I plan on putting 15% away. Currently have 10% in Roth 401(k) and I'm going to open a Roth IRA this year. 5% in that will max it out. I work for a startup so no matching right now, but hopefully in the future. I'm 24, so I'm proud to start early.
It shouldn't be since you're a hotel guest. Just find a promoter when you get there: they're everywhere trying to convince ladies to drop by and you can also follow the club's social media sites to get their numbers). Tell them how many in your group, and the best thing is to text them when you arrive so they can meet…
