I would be shocked if his thoughts went beyond “I’m going to put that kid in his place”. Or maybe “I’ll get this kid, because if I tried it with an adult I would get my ass kicked”.

I suspect it doesn’t work like that. Otherwise tenure would have less utility for retention of faculty if professors could flounce off to another school on a whim, perhaps throwing their department into some degree of chaos, then return later without loss of status.

Not to say that Bialik doesn’t have some, let’s say, questionable public comments in her background, but calling her “anti-vax” is incorrect. She’s said she thinks children should get vaccinated and I think she confirmed her own kids are vaccinated as well.
