...and I don’t trust Sean Lowe either.

Jake Pavelka is insane. I would not be at all surprised if it came out he murdered someone. Likely it would be a romantic partner.

I have seen refugee camps. That doesn’t make me anything close to an expert, just aware enough to know using it as a fashion theme is pretty disgusting.

Is that not minimum wage?

Finally, you get it!

Difference being: the excessive outrage. If the model who wrote the account was outraged, perhaps I’m wrong.

I’m sure you would.

I am not, in fact, fucking kidding you. And I would suggest you do some study on the Holocaust as well.

Anonymous internet forum sentences do not an actual outrage make. Nonsense to nonsense, dust to dust.

I’m not defending it. I’m saying I find it unoffensive and actually I find the misplaced outrage more offensive. I’m not impressed by anyone’s internet commentary condemnation of holocaust references. Bang on the keyboard until you’re red in the face if you must; I will find it silly, confused, and an overreaction.

I find the outrage stupid. So it would simply seem we disagree.

That’s the thing - I didn’t read her comments as making that comparison. Life and death in concentration camps - to me - is different than making a comparison to the experience of being packed up in shuttles with strangers, receiving weird instructions and outfits, and not trusting or knowing where you are headed or

Maybe fertile, sexually-active people can take contraceptives more seriously.

I don’t think they have to feel responsible for anything. If you are a pregnant woman who is unconcerned with your baby potentially being born with a small head and brain abnormalities, I guess you shouldn’t worry about it at all.

You’re right, I cannot and am not. Neither was the comment by the extra. I think you’re taking this a bit too far.

There could probably be arguments made about disturbing the peace or similar.

This Jezebelian faux-outrage at the mention of a concentration camp is lazy and tired. I didn’t read the account as a comparison to the Holocaust.

Many of the people sent to concentration camps did not have “the knowledge that” they and their loved ones would be forced to work or murdered. I think that was their point; they weren’t given instructions or an explanation and were being just herded around.

I think it’s more being in the position of not knowing where you are headed, not knowing if you are being sent somewhere under false pretenses, and being herded around in groups of people.

Channeling a “refugee theme” for a fashion show is disgusting irony.
