I’m sure that post-Trump America is exactly what has caused a decline in attendance. But that doesn’t fit yer boy’s narrative.

Caity’s TGIF post is always at the front of my mind. Endless appetizers and the bland gloom of a corporate chain. My heart!
I bet Canadians are not alone in skipping out on coming to America port-Trump.
I hear you. But it’s the same attitude found in Anytown, USA. People happy to praise and elect the huckster who hastens their own demise.
This is the perfect encapsulation of everything wrong in the general population right now.
Wow. Speechless.
That lil’ buddy probably did smile at you. They are the strangest animals and beyond smart. Like scary smart, which is part of what fascinates and repels me about them. I got pushed to my limit when one of them tore the screen in my downstairs bathroom and sauntered into the kitchen while I was making dinner as if I…
It was not even half as bad as when I had to trap a family of possums. Blech.
I watched the mother breastfeed one of her babies in my backyard during a rainstorm and was utterly moved to sobbing over my kitchen sink. For all the nuisance they were, they occupied a soft spot in my heart.
That sucks.
They never came back! The park I left them in is heavily wooded, but surrounded by houses. They likely just found a new family to pester.
I love raccoons from a distance. They can be such a pain when they’re terrorizing you though. I had an entire family of them a few years ago that had pushed me to my limit.
Dude, you need to make them cover the overhead expenses. Glue is not free. I was taking $0.25 off her every sale, putting it in a jar and making her count the quarters at Target when she needed to replenish supplies - which was almost every week. She likes to have a lemonade stand in the summers, too. It’s the same…
That is so heartwarming though! My daughter also gave some away to the kids who couldn’t afford them. She’s pretty darn good about being inclusive. That is a wonderful reflection of your beautiful spirit.
I absolutely disagree that she is beautiful and that she gets more stunning with age. I can, however, recognize that she is considered conventionally.
Thank you! I already hated her, but this is like visual confirmation of my gut instinct.
Someone yesterday mentioned the she looks like Voldemort and now I can’t unsee it. Even in the prettiest possible packaging, the ugly shines through.
My eight year old daughter cornered the market in her classroom and on her bus this year selling it for $2 a pop. It was thoroughly entertaining to see her little entrepreneurial side that was before totally unknown to me.
Exactly my thought. Irresponsibly, moronically, stupidly, we can go on and on with adverbs to describe that they just didn’t fucking think it through. But “knowingly” is wrong, especially combined with the next statement “then filled that area with human beings” as if there was direct intent.
“knowingly created a fire trap with inadequate means of escape. They then filled that area with human beings and are now facing the consequences of their action.”
