Hey, neighbor! I’m in Louisville. I’m really hopeful that this could be McConnell’s last term for all the bootlicking he’s done. I’m pretty active with Kentuckians for the Commonwealth; they’re state-wide and can at least usually bring press coverage to issues. Our democratic party though sucks, just isn’t cutting it…

I’m in Kentucky, where we have zero hope of changing anything locally and McConnell, though somehow universally hated, continues to get elected for nigh on 33 years now. But yes, I am volunteering. I’m in this. Though, even that seems fruitless given that I’m in one of only two liberal enclaves in the state.

I can vaguely recall that being an exception, like 10 years ago before I began living the good life in sports bras. :)

As I told another commenter, Louise Mensch is crazy. But she’s been pretty accurate lately. Read through her Twitter, as well as Claude Taylor’s and John Schindler’s. Mensch’s latest blog is claiming Hatch to be the next in line.

I don’t have a definitive answer. She seems totally crazypants and conservative to me, but she’s right kinda frequently? She’s baffling. If you figure it out, please let me know.
