That’s about when I started shopping with them too. You could pretty reliably count on items lasting around 10 years. Now, you’re lucky if something lasts one season. Couple that with an unjustifiable price point and it’s just not an option anymore.
Their declining quality has been the biggest deterrent for me since oh, around 2005 or so. I still have a few pieces from the very early aughts that were initially expensive, but continue to serve as classic staples in my wardrobe.
I understand that some people mutually engage in that kind of fantasy, but “casually dating” + tying up + torturing + against your will + choking = run the other way. Please!
This is truly a thing of beauty, illustrations and words! Along time coming and worth waiting for (though I wish we didn’t have to wait and that he’d have already been impeached). Thank you!

What a thoughtful response!
Thank you!
Women have done the vast majority of work in changing social structures and attitudes. Women will continue to do the work.

I’m not sure that conjugal visits are even a thing anymore. Imagine being the cleaning staff for one of those trailers. Ha! I hope those people are making some serious money.
Just saw this posted down thread by another commenter:
My knowledge of the situation is slight, but my guess would be that it works similarly to the for-profit companies that run the prison telephone systems (I think it actually is mostly the same companies). With those, the person receiving the call has to agree to the fees up front. So, I think it’s the visitors who…
I think they’re all going down. It’s just a waiting game at this point.
