I could be wrong, but I felt like that was alluded to by “Amy’s nanny..... and Amy’s other nanny.” That’s how I took it. It wasn’t explicitly said, but there were hints.

I see Amy and Tina are dead set on keeping that special place in hell that Taylor so graciously picked out for them.

I’m pretty sure they acknowledge this regularly, though a line about it would have been nice. Otherwise, this is beyond awesome — educating people that it takes a village (including, yes, nannies) is a big deal.

Tina looks great as a red head.

I love how everyone being like “what’s in this drink?” meant something different in the “old days” are acting like date rape is a new invention.

Casey Wilson, Jenny Slate, and Noel Wells were wayyyy better off without SNL. Love to see them succeed!

Yeah. I’m excited for the day women can all be like:

She's not whining about how much she's being paid. She's complaining that she is doing the same work as a man and being undervalued. Isn't that different to you? And don't you think that's a wider societal issue?

It always astounded me, the entitlement that my ex possessed when it came to negotiating his salary & bonuses. I’m old so that’s part of it, but there’s so much push-back when a woman tries to do it, which just reinforces that we’re wrong to expect that we can negotiate and really we should just be grateful for what’s

Ok, I can understand why no one would care about straight up money disputes, but whether a woman is an actor or not, she's still a woman and she has experience with gender inequality.

Oh, fuck off, and read the damn piece. She acknowledges her privilege.

I’m glad she’s talking about it. It can be risky for even a well-known actor or actress to publicly criticize Hollywood - you piss off the wrong person and you get a reputation as “pushy” or “difficult”, and then your roles start dwindling. Especially since the big-budget side of the film industry is consolidating

I don’t want to seem like all of the things that are words that that are used for women; they don’t have those words for males.

Men who don’t like women don’t like when they talk.

So typical. The guy basically devoted an entire movie review to negging. Though I guess that’s impressive commitment to douche baggery.

I just finished up an Experimental Psych lab where I created a study looking at how female characters like Hermione Granger have a positive effect on girls’ self-esteem. I basically wrote a major paper just explaining how awesome Hermione Granger is.

If we’re honest though, Hermione was the real hero. Yeah, she didn’t have a scar that constantly hurt and didn’t do as much physical battle, but she figured shit out and got shit done.

You know no one chooses an unsafe and illegal procedure versus a clinic visit, right? And that draconian abortion laws are making more and more women self-abort? And that only someone profoundly desperate would do this?

Historically, coat hangers were used to cause catastrophic damage to the uterus which would necessitate termination to save the life of the woman. It sounds like she didn’t know this and thought you could abort the pregnancy yourself with a coat hanger and then freaked out when there was tonnes of blood and went to
