This game should have given Ninja Theory's DMC more credibility, but strangely it did not. Odyssey to the West was a good game that's worth picking up for it's bargain price. It also puts DMC's style choices and combat pacing in scope. A real shame it didn't sell better.

Seriously why was no one else talking about this game when DMC Devil May Cry came out? People were railing on it without even looking at what Ninja Theories prior games were like. Except Fire/dragon makes his type pretty awesome (they probably wouldn't remove water weakness) but he would be resistant to Electric, Grass, and double fire resistant while overcoming dragon's ineffectiveness to Steel type. And not to mention normal weakness to rock and stuffs.

I bet Smash Bros will have both Red and Blue on the roster. Red with Charizard (ultimate smash evolution), Ivysaur, and Squirtle THEN have Blue with Blastoise, Raticate (the FEELS), and Flareon or something. Nintendo's all about that kind of shoehorning.

Okay whoever is playing keeps forgetting to equip a shield (it's a moonlit forrest so you don't need to have a torch out) then spams attack without even trying to lock on. She burns through estus (you can use it in other worlds now?) and kinda sucks overall.

Dark Souls (just about everything can be seen as a dick move in PVP) but using Chameleon is super fun for sneaky kills invading or being invaded. also no poise shuffling with a summoned friend to pick them off in the confusion. Also Wrath of the Gods spam is all kinds no fun.

To anyone doubting that this could be cool should check out the animated movie adaptation of Batman Year One. Every time I read a Batman book, I read Gordon's voice as Bryan Cranston's because of his awesome performance.
