Nearly 500 prisoners escaped. Even if they had sent 10 suicide bombers in, they would have had a net gain of 490 troops. Also, the causalities suffered from 10 SBs would likely be > 10.

@theatremusician: God, if you're listening, please do the same to the American's nuclear programs. :)

@Elratauru: Gamecube was the worst selling Nintendo console so yeaaaah. 22 million GC units vs. 33 millon N64 units. Even the original Xbox sold more with 24 million. GC was a great system but AKAIK it is considered a flop.

@Cerby: Someone call the fire department, this guy's pants are on fire!

@Teran: Preface not prologue

@deacon001: You should re-check your source. Plato does not such thing. It is presented by Critias as 4-5th hand knowledge that's been passed down through the family. Plato uses it as a foil for an ideal city state, yes, but as far as the dialogue is concerned it is considered a myth set in truth.

In addition to what Annalee said in her reply, in the original post she's talking about how the Replicants are more human than Humans (in a couple of ways), e.g. in their rebellion against their programming vs. humanity's accepted cultural programming. Humans are sub-human, whereas the replicants are making headway

@drmaybe: I thought it was covered by Number 5?

@Clixx13: That's what she said!

@weirdphil: Yes, make a sequel for PSN and XLBA pretty please!

I think they're about $100. My dad bought one for my sister's 15th birthday. I believe he got it at Hudson Bay Company (we're in Canada), but if you talk to a speciality store they should be able to order one from Tolberone (because it is a retail item, just unique/rare).

I prefer the 10 lb Tolberone

Nope, that is what I said: an object absorbs all the colours it is, and it reflects what it is not, (which is what we see.) So yes, what I'm saying is the apple is actually a cyan colour. Again, I'm not talking about what's utile for people, but rather the true colour intrinsic to the object itself.

It's been a long time I've held a scientifically-grounded epistemological view that the colours we perceive are the negative of reality. What is absorbed rather than scattered is a more apt description of the colour the "thing-in-itself" is, which is what ontologists like Heidegger and Kant's transcendentalist views

@N-Robes: The mechs looked way too light to me too.

"Especially considering the HDMI 1.5 support"

@dc-united: I have 3 alarms set up on my phone, and I use a radio alarm clock, and I still wake up late, never hitting snooze, or I did and I don't recall. I've wanted a good puzzle clock for some time now.

Gloriful!
