As a former bouncer I learned a long time ago how trash most of us are but we as men need reminders like this every day.
As part of his brand, Kareem also puts goggles over the lens on his smartphone.
I’m not comfortable with this new world in which Duke players are likable in any way.
Apparently, money can buy you...
*Puts on sunglasses*
a very mediocre core for your basketball team.
I mean, does that apply to the people that work behind the scenes, though? I always the impression that most of them were just people who needed a job, and “my previous job was a booking agent for a major network” probably is good for your career regardless of if that network was Fox, CNN, NBC, ect. It makes sense…
Dennis Schroder does all the bad things Russell Westbrook does without any of the good things Russell Westbrook does.
Pogba is clear the Coach LeBron of France
I like the Paul Pogba speech though. I’m assuming Pogba spoke first, then Deschamps took all the air out and France went on to play like shit for like the first 60 minutes.
As a Roma fan, I was relieved that Brazil didn’t do anything special in the WC, as I was hoping we could sneak through the summer without selling him. He’s the best keeper I’ve seen with the ball at his feet. He has excellent distribution and is a very good shot-stopper. Liverpool just got a World Class GK.
He’s also never had control of a transfer budget this big, which makes very large mistakes more likely. Also a lot of fun to watch.
It’s interesting to see Klopp do a 180 from his “I wouldn’t spend big even if I had the money” philosophy. I think that CL loss to Madrid finally broke him. He’s 1-6 in cup finals and has never paid more than pennies for a goalkeeper. Now he buys the most expensive one in history 6 months after doing the same for a…
“Right?!? My name ain’t Checky Leanne Francis!”
The financial edge that teams in bigger markets have come from fans willing to pay higher prices for their entertainment. That doesn’t stop when a cap is implemented. Bigger market teams just keep ticket prices as they are and pocket the difference. I think fans paying higher prices should get a better product.
To be fair with some real IT perspective, it sounds like they didn’t have one guy who could “fix” the machines. That’s a bit clickbaitish.
What it sounds like is that some frequently scheduled IT process stopped/failed/hung and it required a reboot of some system. This Miguel guy may be the only one who works on that…
Good question. Ask Leicester City.
Well, there are two problems there. The first is the idea of the Red Sox as a large market team. Boston isn’t a particularly large market. Toronto, for instance, is bigger than Boston. Even if you count all of New England as “their” market then Toronto, by virtue of having Canada all to itself, is still a larger…
Except that’s completely transparent horseshit. The idea that “the league” has a singular financial interest as opposed to 30 or so competing ones is completely undercut by the behaviour of their owners with regards to revenues.
Yup. In the early 2000's when players were signing big contracts to play for bad teams, fans called them “greedy.” Now, players are taking less money to play for winners and fans are calling them “lazy.”
Make them the San Francisco Giants?
