Yes! I feel like I should think they’re somewhat handsome, but they veer off into the uncanny valley so hard. Creeptastic.
Yes, THIS! I think my brain keeps trying to place them in the Harry Connick, Jr. box but it knows that’s not right because their faces are too long and eyes too askew, so it sort of malfunctions into a tense feeling and I have to look away.
i started scrolling through to see who these children’s rollercoaster riding simpletons were (having never watched whatever it is they do) but ended up feeling as though i were looking directly into the eyes of that clown in the new it trailer. they are truly unnerving.
Pretty sure they’re Deep Ones. They’ve finished flipping Innsmouth, and their fantastic work got them noticed by HGTV. The rest is awkward, gaze-averting history.
They are like semi attractive fish. Am i wrong for thinking fish are attractive? it’s all very unsettling.
C’mon. That just open mouth, and the eyes off in the distance urging you to come hither.
I am so utterly disinterested in whether or not they actually become a committed couple. Two seasons to get there is naturalistic I suppose but that aspect is as boring as paint.
They look like animated Disney Princes but IRL.
Yes, I don’t know what it is about renovation people having dead, empty eyes. I always felt Ty Pennington had the same issue.
I now cannot be convinced their heads aren’t photoshopped onto their bodies in every single picture.
I think they actually set off an uncanny valley reaction. They have just the right combination of too-perfect looks and styling combined with dead-behind-the-eyes-but-trying-to-emote.
There’s something off-putting about their look, yes. I can’t quite put my finger on it either.
I’m glad I’m not the only one to feel this way!
Their eyes are drifting apart like Pangea. It’s unsettling
Yes. That is it. There’s something literally fish-like about their faces. The eyes? Idk. Like prey that have their eyes on the sides of their head and not in the front so they can see around them better.
Just gonna leave this here.
I am deeply unnerved by the size of their heads in the second photo under pose 2. That shit is gonna infiltrate my nightmares.
