When my sister was shopping for a Mazda 3 the dealer we went to in Atlanta actually had one with a manual on the lot and it was fairly well optioned (it was $22k). It was definitely quite surprising to me.

Funny you say that. We have someone in the neighborhood who has recently done burnouts all over a probably 5 square mile area. He’s even done them in his driveway and right in the road in front of it. He’s done it with his 3(?)-year-old in the truck. The guy has a screw loose.

The 3rd Gen Mazda 3 2.0L seems to have at least 3 gallons left once the light comes on (or is it when it says it has 0 miles left? I can’t remember) which gives it a range of about 90-120 miles.

That’s the nice thing about 80 MPH speed limits. When we drove through the west last year I was content doing 80 MPH and I was actually doing the speed limit which is something I don’t normally do. Imagine that.
