I've got it on my '06 Explorer. I use it all of the time. It's one of the best features on a car and for some reason only Ford has it. Yesterday I went to get some lunch, but I had the dogs, so I left the car running and was able to lock it since I had the keypad. And sometimes I'll go running and I'll leave the keys

The capacitive one sucks! It doesn't work with gloves, and it doesn't work that well the rest of the time. Better than no keypad, though.

What is this? Kindergarten?

I had to replace mine recently as I was having a constant misfire that I couldn’t diagnose immediately (ended up being sparkplugs). The cats were only $260, but I ended up not being able to replace them myself (frozen bolts in a crossmember) and had to spend another $250 at a shop to put them on.

I just did one kind of like the orange one (but less). Started in Columbus, GA, went to around Toronto (relatives there) for two weeks, left there and went through Chicago then Wisconsin, Minnesota, SD (stopped at Badlands), Montana/Wyoming (Yellowstone), then to Bend, OR (relatives), did some MTB there, went to the

I generally just go to Advance because they’re in the right spot and they have great coupons.

or mayflies, if you’re nasty

My ‘06 Explorer needs a new radiator. The leak isn’t too bad, but I don’t feel like buying a new radiator.

The fix is to buy a 2006 Explorer. :P

Why is he out almost $5000?

They did a great job improving the exterior. The old one was so poorly designed and just looked cheap.

Weird...in Fords the auto headlights come on when you turn on the wipers.

I’m glad I live in a place where this stuff doesn’t happen (the country). You can leave whatever you want outside and no one is going to take it; it’s a nice feeling.

Or just do like I did and have your dad buy a used Cayman S.

My question is: Is it really that prohibitive to incorporate the cost of crash testing into the retail price of the cars? Seems like people would be willing to put up another $100-200,000 to buy one of these.

I never understood how Canada gets this reputation. I've never found it to be that way, and I've never found the US to be a place where everyone shoots each other, either in real life or road rage videos. Oh, well...

I record them on dashcam and put them on youtube.

We’ve got the Slow Poke Law in Georgia now. I’m not sure how much of a difference it makes, but they’ve issued at least 250 tickets for it so far.

Georgia now has the "Slow Poke" law. You can get fined if you don't move over from the left lane if someone is behind you. If only the whole country had the same and it was enforced.
