Did anyone else notice where the joint went in the park bench scene? Either Nina smoked the whole J in a couple drags or bad editing. I like to think it was the former.

The main character actually looks exactly like a video game character. Particularly one voiced by Nolan North.

"The clash of cultures here is a bit dizzying - Anglo-Saxons relied on Neolithic monuments to fend off Norse invaders who were assisted by abandoned Roman technology."

I would kill to get some picture like these or other star-fields at 1920x1200 for my desktop.

I'm not so sure about the art direction... It looks really different from the comics without looking cool or distinct.

I haven't watched this or the previous episodes yet, but I've decided that this is not a good show to watch and my time would be better spent elsewhere. I don't want to watch enough of it that I feel compelled to keep watching like what happened with Heroes and Glee.

@thebluepill: The idea of a montage is fine. The way Stargate does them is annoying and silly. They always use the worst songs and try to make everything SO melodramatic. Also, they don't have to tie up all the character changes, I was WATCHING the episode. I KNOW what happened.

Why does this show feel the need to end every episode with those ridiculous montages? I can't imagine who thought they were a good idea...

I want to visit this island before the trees are all gone.

Completely unrelated to Hardy, I would just like to say that I really enjoy JGL's face in this picture.

Bottom line is that no matter how phenomenal the trailers look (and they do look phenomenal), the game will never be remotely near as cool. It's sad but true. I wish Lucasarts would use all their awesome middleware and crazy tech to build a new Jedi Knight instead of a mediocre platformer.

"Skywalker. Skywalker. And why do you come to walk my sky, with the sword of a Jedi knight? ... I remember another Skywalker."

That clip of Fringe made me laugh my ass of.

This is the most adorable article io9 has ever done.

Peter is NOT skeevy. You take back what you said.

I see no #acid tag on this post...

What "genre" would this be considered? I want it for my Pandora.
