This particular aircraft was boroscoped and believe it or not no serious damage was done...although the fan blades look like a child went to town on them with a sharpie.

The pilots are running checklists and can't see whether or not he's put the cone out there. And it looked like both engines where running. The blades on #2 weren't stationary. Plus unless he has some amazing ear pro, you'd still be able to hear the engine running right next to your face and feel the air being sucked…
