Sure, whatever you say. They all do look nearly identical eh? Right down to the pop up headlights which come on all lightweight cars with four wheels.

Contact Pete Sohren (AKA Pistol Pete) on Facebook. He runs BajaLite race trucks and constantly posts online how people can join for ride alongs during races.

Ah, MGB - I remember those. Growing up, one of my neighbors had one in his garage, and he was always tinkering with it. Same with the neighbor with the Alfa Spyder. Pretty convertibles, and so many shop tools.

If like to believe they were inspired by the Élan as opposed to flat out copying it. Because Miata's are only capable of good.

Fred Jones (that really was his name).

As far as I know, it's carbon fibers in a resin that's different than the polymer used in modern CFRP (epoxy, polyester, vinyl ester or nylon). Still carbon fiber in my book.

Eh, things have been wrong with society always.

It is pretty standard procedure to taxi up to the gate with only 1 engine running, usually the one opposite the side that the cargo bin is on (to speed up the offload process). For an E145, they usually leave engine #2 running, and in the case of the E170, it would be engine #1. There actually is no need to place a

I rather have one of these, which is basically a fire truck, because fire truck.

Even at ground idle turbofans generate enough suction to pull stuff in (FOD, or foreign object debris) To save fuel airlines start one engine before pushback from the gate and then start the second engine before takeoff. This almost seemed deliberate to me, that the guy held something in front of a running engine.

This was at ORD and not the first time these rampers have done this to our new ERJ175s [http://www.avherald.com/h?article=46f3…]. This particular aircraft was boroscoped and believe it or not no serious damage was done...although the fan blades look like a child went to town on them with a sharpie.

The pilots are running checklists and can't see whether or not he's put the cone out there. And it looked like both engines where running. The blades on #2 weren't stationary. Plus unless he has some amazing ear pro, you'd still be able to hear the engine running right next to your face and feel the air being sucked

How can it be too soon? the race hasn't even happened yet

Isn't bespoke supposed to mean hand made? These engines are anything but hand made (and we are better for it).

Not necessarily, but I don't know who has manual transmissions that will handle the torque of an AMG engine.

Not the worst thing to happen. I mean, imagine an Aston sounding like THIS!!!!! WANT WANT WANT!
