Anybody who has kept a Rover 3500 running and who uses the username "magnox" automatically deserves a star. Probably a dozen stars.

Sinister looks, terrifying running costs. It comes from that special period in British carmaking history when Rovers had to stop for repairs more often than for fuel.

Everybody loves a V12, but those early BMW V12s have a reputation for terrifying complexity / expensive failures.

In the UK, tanks can be made road-legal. There are a handful of light tanks, tracked APCs &c. on the roads.

Why does a government need to own an airline? They haven't done a very good job of it - Air India consumes huge amounts of taxpayers' money, provides a terrible service, and in order to protect it the government excludes other airlines that could do a better job.

Yes; it was surprisingly convenient. People don't usually put "User friendly" and "Court" in the same sentence, but MCOL is more efficient and user-friendly than anybody would expect from a British government webservice.

Flying cars are not the future, not as long as people like you and me drive them. Let's compare safety metrics for different modes of transport:

Miami Vice? It might have coke-dealer styling, but a W201 isn't ideal. A W123, W126, or maybe an R107 would be better...
