The disrespect that the recording academy has for Fiona Apple

I saw this on Broadway and the casting seems very off - Corden too young, Kidman too old (although I would never say no to aa Kidman movie let alone one where she sings and dances) even Rannells who I have been in love with since The New Normal since seems too old for his role. Streep in this trailer isnt a great

More details - 13 year olds are involved so this is disgusting. Sad, Jerry was such a happy positive figure. Can’t have any heros.

I would like to know more information as Jerry was 19 on the date of the text messages, he could be texting a 17 year old - since he’s gay I could see homophobic parents taking it to the police in certain states. Very curious as to why its the fbi getting involved, but im sure more details will come sooner or later.

Uh this is a weird comment but also Jerry is gay so

Hit the nail on the head you did. I texted my friend saying this was her lna in the forrest album and have seen many jokes online asking if this album was written after she tried ketamine or valium

She knows how to play the piano (maybe hasn’t always) - and I can read and write music and I only know how to sing, so I don’t know why you’d assume she cant do that - its been her profession her entire life.

I wasn’t trying to go against your point - I agree. It’s something I would say nearly every single artist (full stop) is “guilty” of, songwriting credits are often given out superfluously for a single line for example. Why do people single out Beyonce all the time? I do truly think it has ties to sexism/racism,

Any claim’s of Beyonce not being involved in her work given the proof to the contrary just reeks of sexism to me (and racism). She has written her own music since Destiny’s Child and every interview/doc I’ve seen from her and those around her laud her as a creative force. These people can stay mad; a black woman is

I say the same think about The Beatles

People thought the Lion King connection was unlikely? Its a visual companion to her Lion King inspired album that was already released. Anyway this looks goooorgeous, her work has some of the most beautiful visuals i’ve seen in any medium

Gypsy is my fav song on the album. I remember hating Jewelz and Drugz but i accidentally listened to it recently and i loved it.

Oh reading into it, theyre just referencing singles that debuted in the top 10. Apparently no Joanne or ASIB singles debuted in the top 10 but Dope debuted at #8 (which is weird because i never heard it on the radio or at all really). As such Stupid Love was the first /since/ Dope to debut in the Top 10.

I would think Applause was the lead single unless im mistaken by what lead single means lol

Artpop grows on you. There’s a lot of #JusticeForARTPOP movements going on right now. It was criminally underrated. I’d be curious to hear what you think.

No song stays for too long, for better or worse. Would love to hear some extended versions for once again clubs and bars. Oddly can’t wait to dance to Sine from Above? The 90s vibe of it all really works.

I’m loving it so far; stand out tracks for me are the 3 singles, Plastic Doll, Enigma, Replay, and Babylon. Its a shame we wont be able to dance to it in a club anytime soon because so many of things need a strong volume. I think its beautifully constructed and is a return to form for Gaga but looking at the above

The opinion on this episode seems to be so far ranging. Me and all the friends i talked to my thought it was an amazing A+ episode. So many people on twitter and reddit say its the worst of the season. I guess im glad this review is in the middle ground than the latter.

I audibly gasped when Gigi performed the Madonna knee move, much more so than her back flip. I have seen Jan live many times and while she gets the most attention out of her girl group “Stephanie’s Child” I think the other two are more talented (aka Simon was right). People are loving her on this show though, every

Sasha never had as solo win, all her wins were with Shea (2)
