The Community people were mostly self-involved and a bit emotionally negligent. These guys are more into knowingly doing bad things. I still like the show, but I've given up on rooting for them.

Discussed it a lot last episode.

I find it interesting that she used the same means of getting rid of Rust that Woody Harrelson's wife used on True Detective. (Except that like a sensible person she lied rather than actually sleep with another Rust.)

And he's actually blowing it with them before the incest even comes up. The whole "How about you guys kiss? No? Well then it's not a three-way" thing is kind of dickishly pedantic when you're dealing with people having a new sexual experience.

They use the term "three-way", which I find more generic in it what it implies. Not that I actually blame him for getting out of there, it just makes them seem a little less mentally ill to me.

Dunno, I could see a relationship ending over a Pandemic "What should we do?" argument.

Did you try the Courtesan rule? I haven't yet but it seems like it could be fun if you have an odd number of players.

Gotta love Kulap Vilaysack using her native Minnesota accent when she fingered Scott. (Possibly not for the first time.)

Excellent!

She might have had a thought process as complex as "Maybe the Evos can save the world, but once they do the normal humans will start trusting/worshipping them and real humanity will be doomed." But all in service of a manageable-size utopia that she could rule.

"From that show where you liked the first season but hated the rest! No, not mine, the other one!"

I would have loved for Erica to show up at some weird temporal afterlife full of clocks, and for Irish barmaid to show up and ask her if she wanted anything to drink.

I love that they've basically hired a guy to build them the Battlestar Galactica. Glen Larson's dream fulfilled at last.

Alex saying "I want to wake up" before being sedated was a perfect moment.

Exactly. And at the same time, I bet in her service somewhere she was told (or told others) that if you're up against an unknown threat in unfriendly territory, as soon as they start shooting you start moving away from them (even as you shoot back), just in case it turns out there's more going on than you know about.

From _Traveller_: "Why do we call it The Cant?" / "Because we can understand it. And outsiders can't."

There was definitely a point where he looked at Erica sidelong and I was sure we'd get the "Erica is immune to Matt's power, and Matt & everyone else she talks to are actually susceptible to her 'powers of persuasion' power." But no, or at least not yet (haven't watched the finale yet).

My one attempted hand-wave on the AT-ATs in general is that their armor improves between then and Empire Strikes Back. Would explain why the rebels thought the snowspeeders would be able to shoot at them effectively and were rudely surprised.

If I could have a Steve Blum voice filter mask I would definitely use it.

It's a big galaxy, lots of missions to go on, I can believe it. The one party they wouldn't want to miss is the space part of the Battle Of Endor, and that was so big they could conceivably have been there without us seeing them.
