In a way it seems similar to what Missy was doing last season (though obviously with the people the Doctor did NOT save).

If it was going to be historical, I'd have liked a little more attention paid to history. Like that the battle of Agincourt didn't remotely end the Hundred Years War (given that the British won that battle but lost the war), it extended it. And EVERYONE knows that a "mere woman" ended the war: the French woman Joan Of

I have a fan theory based on some seemingly random remark back in the Captain Jack days that he doesn't want immortal companions because he'd be constantly showing up in times where they already exist. Which both poses a thematic problem (showing the timeverse to someone who would get there anyway) and could create

P&P&Z actually got me started on Austen, and I'd read all six of her novels within a few months.

Maybe an update to Stripes would have worked better.

"(The answer is often: both.)"

The Postman was Dryworld.

And one of the near-identical suited guys from American Psycho… "But wait. You ain't seen nothin' yet. Raised lettering, pale nimbus. White."

Caveat: He may be completely unrecognizable. I was specifically looking for him because of Mulholland Drive and still didn't notice him.

Basically correct, though specifically she had enough that she COULD support her brother (and save his church) but would only do it if he gave up his crusade. As it turns out, he lost the church but kept up the crusade with his roulette money.

YES!!! I got the exact same vibe. And looking back, even first season has parallels to it, they're just not as clear as the s2 ones.

I even miss the twins. They were like the wise fools of the Leftoververse. When someone commented on Jill's first aid skills I was hoping she'd say: "I used to hang around with twins that beat each other up a lot."

If 5 is burning down the house, maybe 2 is once in a lifetime and 3 is psycho killer.

Idiots or people who care more about getting grants than what they get them for. But as mentioned already they could be both.

His break-dance-fight with Owen Wilson in Zoolander didn't seal the deal?

It also creates a continuity problem. If you do eleven takes of someone taking a first (or last) bite of the cheeseburger, you need a new cheeseburger for each take, and have to maintain some sort of continuity of the cheeseburger getting smaller as time goes on. Which in addition also means you can't re-edit the

I was hoping for "I accused my best friend of having sex with Dad even though I was pretty sure she hadn't."

Makes sense, but I was hearing it as "Maya" the whole episode.

Hobbit movies which were at one time to be directed by…Guillermo Del Toro. And now you know The Rest Of The Story.

The promo campaigns are about the same, but in fact they're kind of opposites. WiB was somewhat scary but unpleasant out of proportion to what it delivers, while Crimson is gorgeous and fun but there's only a couple moments I found even somewhat disturbing. (One of those is really good actually, but it happens so
