It's basically one of those "no matter how close you look, you still can't know anything for certain" type things, this time between two very unpleasant alternatives. A very good example of this, but yeah not comfortable.

"A sex tape is essentially organized murder."
I think it was more that he was with the wrong kind of nerds (fangoria types rather than mst3k types).
There is no martian that I prefer to him.
He is, you must admit, a righteous man.
Oh funny. I thought its most famous use had been in the first Scream.
Already done on Ward.
Yeah, it's fine. Though it has so little resemblance to the comic that a re-boot could be completely different and still be great.
Is there a Brother Dolemite too?
I think we're all forgetting about the best part of the series: Flu Buddy!
They should also use "Red Right Hand" by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. I can't hear it without thinking of The Stand. Which eventually led me to make this fan music video: https://www.youtube.com/wat…
It is really good, although I think they could have quickened up some of the early murders and had it be a bit shorter. Seems like it doesn't really kick into gear until Linoge shows himself.
Yeah, he was not at all the Flagg I was expecting. But if you accept that he's going to be "banal evil" rather than "stately cool evil" the performance makes quite a bit of sense.
Also good older actors: Ed Harris and Kathy Bates. But of course they don't have to carry the same kind of dialog as the main characters.
Did they end with the DJ being gunned down by soldiers?
Both of those actors I think did a good job in bad circumstances. But my God, Mother Abigail's cornfield looked TERRIBLE.
I actually thought LSG did a good job in general. The scene where Flagg shows her to the Vegas crowd, they look to her for reassurance, and she brokenly says: "We- are- dead- and- this- is- Hell" might be my favorite part.
They did lighten up some of the darkest stuff. For instance while Ed Harris does a great job as the general who can't keep things under control, they cut out his most problematic decision: to deliberately spread the superflu to China & Russia so they won't have an advantage over us. Which I think would have made the…
Oh yow. Even though repeated viewings have finally stamped the fact that she gets killed in my brain, I had still managed to repress exactly how.
I was going to say that I like her in those movies she makes with husband Sebastian Guitierrez (Elektra Luxx, Judas Kiss, many more), which are very theatrical but then he's pretty much tailoring the movies to her rather than she having to stretch a bunch.
