Russell took the news of Gamby's promotion way too easily. I was genuinely shocked he didn't go batshit when Gamby told him about it.

I keep thinking that the meathead neighbor died owing to the conversation about the brass knuckles- "If you hit just an inch over, he could've died". I thought that was going to be one of the local unsolved crimes that Goggins and Gamby would be secretly guilty of while they continue their mission.

Half agreed; the family scenes are touching too but I always remember the body count of innocents he racked up and it weakens any argument for moral high ground on the Escobar adult family member's part IMO.
