My wife, who loves her CRV, says they look fierce whenever we see one on TV. Meanwhile, I silently cringe inwardly, and say “Yep.” Marriage is sacrifice.

The film is pretty much a shot for shot americanization of the Japanese film Initial D. I liked Initial D better when I first saw it. Now I like the Tokyo Drift better. I think it has to do with the characters being further developed.
As an XLR owner, I wholly agree. While it isn’t an LS7, the LH2 feels like more than 320 hp when it’s bolted into that light weight fiberglass body. It’s fun, spritely and gets attention (when it’s clean).
Pay for a covered storage unit for the J10 or Mustang. Have it towed there. It’ll probably cost you $600 for the tow and 4 months storage. Voila, more space.
Doesn’t matter. Payment is for cost to recharge, so if it’s only holding half, you’ll only be charged for half. Same for “filling up” before you run them dead.
He looks like a younger, less cool John Waters.
The Toyota 5.7L engine is pretty stout. Simplify the heads and de-stroke it to something like 4.2L with twin turbos and it would make an outstanding performance engine. Probably never happen though...
One simple rule: Win by 10 seconds or the race continues. It’d be fun to watch. Might make NASCAR watchable again.
Nothing like having your mission critical military vehicle run on an volatile expensive scarce resource like hydrogen. I seem to recall this not working out well for our gasoline powered tanks. Unless you’re electrolyzing hydrogen from water using an on-board RTG, this is probably not going to be successful.
F-150. 4 door. Roomy. Can be customized. And the 3.6 is quiet.
Unimog.
Later TR3A’s had the Class-1 on the outside. Since it doesn’t technically have an exterior door handle, inclusion on the list is irrelevant.
Always wanted one, even though I know they’re not as great in person.
I’d rather see just regular doping allowed. Who wouldn’t want to watch giant 8 foot tall “athletes” competing on an even playing field, for once?
I’ve never understood the fascination with weird doors. Gull wings are terrible doors. They leak, are heavy, and are complicated to get right. And if there’s an accident, they behave in weird unpredictable ways.
Any chance of having him film the next one with something other than 2009 blackberry? A 4:3 aspect ratio? Really? Just because you’re filming antique cars doesn’t mean you need antique equipment to do so. And there are more video artifacts than actual artifacts in this 11 minute video.
An incentive is the easiest and most direct form to initiate change, but it needs to be balanced with a tax. If you want people to buy cleaner vehicles, tax the ones that pollute and put a large tax incentive on the non-polluting ones. If you want a cleaner seaport, let green ships dock for free and double the fee on…
Post 2001 F-350 Diesel Dually. I had a 2000 F-350, 2wd, that I loved, but kept getting stuck, so I traded it in for a 2006 F-350, 4wd, that was a dog. The engine just didn’t spool up fast enough to feel comfortable in traffic. Oh... and head gaskets.
For years I’ve wondered what those were, and the best answer I’d gotten was “static discharge” chains.
Mobile superchargers would be ideal. Get too low anywhere, and the supercharger comes to you. Make it a nice panel van filled with a few hundred kW and you’re all set. Like AAA for Tesla’s.
