They NEVER admit they made a mistake. There can be video of someone else committing the crime and they will still say "the case we have is not strong enough, so we are dropping charges." You will never hear, "Well, this tape makes it clear we were wrong."

And this basically just screws over people without means. If you have money you are out on bail and when the case collapses you are out money, which you already have. Also, your lawyers can tear through the case much easier and quicker.
