Glad to see people knowing/appreciating Big Thief. I expect great things. My favorite is "Real Love."

I think you're right and people ganged up on you in a pretty impolite manner. A priori, being in a big city when society collapses sounds like a mess and a bloodbath. Haven't y'all seen zombie fiction?

Dang, I was hoping for Derek. Derek "Snake" Plisken.

I think Jefferson would become a domestic terrorist if he were reincarnated into today, with his "tree of liberty…blood of tyrants" views.

Right. Are we really calling Buzzfeed and listicle authors "the media elite?"

I thought the term "neoliberalism" applied exclusively to economic policy. Am I wrong or is the definition shifting? If not, then what does that have to do with the thesis of this play? Now applying the internet disclaimer that I feel is necessary in our age: asking with the legitimate desire to perhaps learn

It's quite fun to listen to the song and click through page by page. I wish it was finished!

I go to shows alone too! People don't get it, but sometimes you gotta see that band.

OMG that is so bad! Thanks for this weird little extra.

That's possible but hard to imagine since rock has so much less music theory nuance.

That is phenomenal. I am going to read more of his work. Thank you!

You can definitely read the Hyperion Cantos (the first of the four books is "Hyperion") if you like his work and want some sci-fi. Some really dang neat concepts in it, like people who have houses with rooms on a dozen different worlds thanks to portals, and a relativistic love affair with one character who ages on a

Yo, has anyone read his Song of Kali? It's a horror novel and I think it was his first book. The less you know, the better (the FREAKING COVER of the version I read had a spoiler, for crying out loud), but I think it's a good choice for Simmons fans who want a horror novel for Halloween. Or for anyone who does, really.

Huge digression about John Keats in a sci-fi novel? Indulgent!?! :)

I'm excited to START reading A Gambler's Anatomy by Jonathan Lethem. An excerpt was featured as a short story in the New Yorker and I wished I could read more about the protagonist. Turns out I can soon! It comes out next week.

Aaaahh YEAH. I could listen to that chorus/hook for days. And I will.
