I love how halfway through Ghost Protocol his character very clearly got rewritten into a different character because they realized he was super boring and wasn’t going to replace Tom Cruise.

As a Marylander I find it incredibly offensive that Lays is lumping old bay chips in with a bunch of fucking novelty flavors.

This better have newspaper spider-man, the best character from the Spiderverse comic.

Peyton Reed is great! I really hope he finally gets to make that Fantastic Four movie he’s been pitching for the last like 20 years

Also he’s the oldest man in the world in this new one

Its also basically the premise to The Grinder, which was also mostly a show about how stupid tv premises are

I guess you didn’t watch the male/female buddy romance/procedural where every week the magician caught someone by painting a very realistic picture on a wall. Perhaps mankind's single greatest artistic achievement.

Milligan recently wrote a legion mini series where I think it turned out all that stuff was bullshit that never happened or something.

Only sort of related to anything, but it’s crazy that Fred Armisen performed in blackface for years and it hasn’t impacted his career at all

*trying and probably falling to avoid spoilers*

I find it sort of weirdly charming how both Pillars games seem to have started with “this would be a cool ending” and then immediately shifted to like world-building and factions and stuff and never really bothered to build a main quest around that ending.

Thanks to the boys I know the secret to writing a great snl sketch

The use of the term Pareto efficiency here seems a little odd.

There were at least 5 distinct moments in that trailer when I thought something like “wait, that’s what this movie is.”

Where is The Simpsons Spin-off Showcase?!? I hope someone is fired for that blunder.

Without 12 Monkeys the movie we wouldn’t have 12 Monkeys the TV show, which is truly the pinnacle of human achievement in the field of stories about a nazi supersoldier who lives in a time city.

Maybe the writer does know this stuff and thinks there are readers who don’t and might be interested in it? And “I’ve always pondered...” is a more pleasant framing decide than “listen up idiot”?

I can’t imagine a context where the first season of American Horror Story could be called anything besides godawful other than when it’s being discussed relative to the witch season of American Horror Story. Who wants this?

I really hope they are A Better Tomorrow 2ing it

I feel like Vaughn has lost the thread of what parts of these movies he’s supposed to think are cool vs. what parts are supposed to be satirical.
