Making all the Latin American characters white seems like an important part of what Verhoeven is trying to do.

Starship Troopers is a good example of this, although that so actively fights the source material it maybe doesn’t count.

Whenever someone talks about 90s era political scandals it reminds me of that one Newsradio episode where Bill tries to be Mark Russell. Thanks to this article I somehow have “Paul Paul Paula Jones. She’s seen Clinton nude” “when Johnny comes marching home again. He’s gay, he’s gay” and someone’s in the kitchen with

It’s such a fun thing to have Thanos be a guy who, to try to impress a girl, acts like he’s really into nihilism. Much cooler than I’m a God guy who loves balance or natural selection of whatever.

I’ve received a copy of the post credit scene and I have good news for you!

Well as long as Thanos still teams up with the devil...

If Loki wasn’t just an unambiguous good guy now, this would be a perfect opportunity to set up the Kid Loki movie the fans have been demanding.

I want to watch a show about Pete trying to alternate between conning Margo Martingale and

I agree. Get Out shouldn’t be winning any of the Academy of Non-Twilight Zone, Darkside, type Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ awards.

I knew a guy in college who refused to tip because he knew other people would just pay his part of the tip for him. People very quickly stopped hanging out with him.

If this was Gunn’s intention when he actually made the movies, then it’s insane how little the characters seem to be affected by Groot’s death, compared to say Yondu. I mean Groot was Rocket’s best friend! Yondu was just a guy Rocket met who taught him the meaning of friendship or something.

If you think about it, aren’t the people, not the zombies, the real walking dead???

So, The River?

He was a supporting character on the biggest show on basic cable for a while!

Nothing is more indicative of the problem with superhero filmmaking than when Thor introduces all this cool looking asgard stuff and then makes the movie mostly about Thor breaking into a military base and walking around the desert.
