If you have 40 minutes after watching that, watch the commentary show they did for it. Dan (the writer) has such a love for the source material that hearing him talk about it is a treat for any TNG Trekkie.

So, could two BB droids swap heads and continue to function with each other’s bodies? Or is each head paired to its body like a pair of Bluetooth headphones paired to a phone? I MUST KNOW.
“Dick move.”
One of my favourite jokes from this episode (and a nice reflection on how smart this show is) is The Terror making a reference to something that was previously only briefly mentioned in a background newscast: “And then I started killing all the bees.”
That’ll put marzipan in her pieplate, bingo!
Yeah good call. I actually thought about that, since Jango being the clone template means there are technically more Maori on screen in Star Wars than perhaps any other race.
The show is so much closer to the cartoon than the previous Wharburton live action version was. Which is surprising, since the casting doesn’t look like an improvement, at first glance. But the writing and acting is so top notch, and Ben E.’s involvement can definitely be strongly felt. Right down to them using the…
Ha! I thought “Alexa: play ominous music” was the funniest product placement I’ve ever seen
Is that Derek?!
The Terror is delightful, I hope we get a lot more of him in the second half of the season
in the video you can see that it’s a replicant from the eyes! watch it again. it’s basically the first thing he instructs the replicant to do.
In fairness I get it, I watched the entirety of the first six episodes in one sitting. ( I had already watched the pilot.)
I think one of my favorite moments is in the second episode when he comments on the Tick’s new costume and he just “Thanks!”. Obviously they changed the costume between the episodes. The creators turning it into a /shrug joke kept me watching.
Only thing I miss is the Terror talking in ‘20s slang. 23 skidoo and she’s got the moxie with his pal old Joe Stalin. Hehehe
The exact moment I was all in. Pitch-perfect evil Grandpa giving advice.
Haha yeah but at least they call it out;
I’m four episodes in. I would have totally binged and watched them all yesterday, but I wanted to save a few for the weekend. I admit I was skeptical at first, but the show is a great live action translation of the original cartoon. I’m looking forward to the next season—and hopefully they’ll do more than six…
“You look kinda different.”
Damnit, I’m going to have to watch this, aren’t I?
Just here to say I watched it today and it was awesome. He was awesome and awesome stuff happened by all.
