Sycophantic middle management that keeps things away from the higher ups?

Just an example - but RDR2 went too far with the whole nourishment angle. Hunting to collect food for the camp is fine. Eating to restore health/stamina/dead eye is fine. Having to eat as you go along in the game so you don’t lose too much weight and get sick is a step too far, IMO... particularly with where the plot

As a Cubs fan, I have one major Joe Buck gripe....

Yep I did the same with my UV stuff.  Probably added a dozen titles to my library that I never expected to be able to redeem

+1 for Movies Anywhere.  I also had good success earlier this year redeeming codes that were “expired”

Throwing a question out there...  Our place is set up with an older ADT system which I’d love to replace.  What’s the best option for integration with HomeKit?

FWIW, I’ve used the Sylvania smart bulbs and strips - they are a solid alternative to Hue, at a significantly lower price point. I’m running a HomeKit setup so I dig the native integration without need for a hub. The Bluetooth connectivity was also nice as I was suffering major WIFI connectivity issues until recently

Even beyond that - his entire brand of toxic politics has forever tarnished his legacy. He may have been a Reality TV joke, but there was still power behind the TRUMP brand in the luxury world. Now the Trump name is so toxic that condo owners are selling at substantial losses just to get out of the buildings. He and

Had this happen to me on Delta. Late connection landed me at Hartsfield 20 mins before my next flight’s departure. I made it to the gate before the doors closed, but they’d already given my seat to a standby. Very confusing for the flight attendant with two passengers holding tickets for the same seat.

Tony was only stranded in space for 3 weeks post-Snap.  The next 4.95 years he was living quietly in the countryside while, presumably, Stark Enterprises was doing its thing.

I’d agree with that, and I say this as someone who loves the books and the show, including seasons 7 and 8. I dont think he has regrets, I just wonder, considering that he backed away for a specific reason, and still failed.

I chalk most of the bitterness out there up less to bad writing and more to misinterpretation

That is a great point that perhaps addresses the shortcomings without unnecessarily bashing D&D. The simple reality is that, despite its faults, these two created one of the greatest TV shows ever and the hate they are getting is the whining of petulant children more than anything.

I do wonder if GRRM wishes he hadn’t

Except that its established by Varys that knowledge of Jon’s lineage would be a crack in the foundation of any society they build after the war. He’d always be a potential threat if he’s known to be the “rightful” king. Same reason that Maester Aemon not only became a Maester (having too many potential heirs is

The Battle at Winterfell was the simply culmination of the War with the Dead. The war started way back in S2 with the Fist of the First Men when the Night’s Watch ranging party gets decimated. The Battle at Castle Black is not a specific Wildlings vs Night’s Watch skirmish, its a subset of the greater war because the

And also clearly not on a direct path of travel. Seemingly, when Thor summons it, it travels a straight line (smashing stuff at the NY Sanctum in Ragnarok) vs traveling its own less direct path when making a sentient/semi-sentient choice (straight up and then down to Thor in Thor, slightly upward then over to Cap in

Not that it matters, but a Tarly daughter would become Lady of Horn Hill before a Tarly wife did.  Like if Myrcella hadn’t died, she’d have been Queen after Tommen, but before Cersei.

Presumably, Sam’s sister Talla is now the Lady of Horn Hill. Not to say Sam couldn’t be awarded that title, but he could also become the Hand to King Aegon VI

I’m chalking it up to Dany presumes that Rhaegal will let it happen since its at her direction, just like Drogon allowed the ranging party to ride him when Dany flew north of the Wall to save the day.

I completely forgot Chris O’Dowd was in that movie...

I’m not sure if it would ultimately piss me off or leave me feeling satisfied that they stayed true to the character, but WHAT IF the film ended on a scene of the Joker revealing that this film has been him retelling the story but that he’s not even sure what parts are true anymore?

Sorta like Ledger with the “You
