The best thing anout these freshman Democrats is that they don’t back down when the Republicans attack them. Republicans are used to attacking the Dems and having the Dems almost reflexively say “Sorry, I didn’t mean to offend you please forgive me!"

The problem is these people want a perfect candidate, someone who’s 100% above reproach, who’s never done anything wrong in their life ever. I’d love that too, but obviously that person doesn’t exist and never will.

Agreed that it could have been condensed, but disagree on the ending sucked. The middle dragged. The ending was strong.

I heard from Watkins Glen locals that urbody including the Schuyler County old farts who control everything freaked out once they announced hip hop acts. They cut the permitted max attendance from a NASCAR range of 100,000 to just 70k, axed the single day tickets and the ability to leave the venue...can’t have thugs…

I love Senator Warren, but she hasn’t thought this issue through. Totally eliminating the filibuster would be throwing out the baby with the bathwater. The smart solution is to retain filibuster privileges exclusively for Democratic senators. Then we can filibuster Republican legislation but they can’t filibuster…
