I don’t disagree with anything you said, especially about the fad diet part. But if you actually read his diet start to finish, it sounds to me like it’s incredibly healthy. From a profile in the recent past (his personal chef is being quoted):

I think Brady pays a lot more attention to his diet than ANY other NFL QB. He’s basically a vegan. People aren’t making avocado ice cream jokes about Big Ben. Peyton was making commercials for Papa John’s. They do have nutritionists, but I’m not sure how many athletes take advantage of them in March.
