I’d be first in line for a sanely sized and packaged pickup.  Like human size.

Hasn’t GM been building EVs all along?

Worked in Antarctica for 12 years. McMurdo, Palmer Station, South Pole and two tours on the NPRV Nathanial B. Palmer sailing around the continent of Antarctica.  God Speed ya’ll, and be sure you ice core samples don’t melt.

Oh hell yeah.  When has Ford stepped up to restore a Mustang, or GM step up to restore a Corvette or anything.  Hat’s off to VW for doing the right thing, the first time.

So they move Passat production from Germany to Tennessee... and it’s still the poor man’s Buick?  Pass.

Gotta say, I’ve never been a ‘vette driver. Just never blew up my skirt enough to sign on the line. But a mid engine ‘vette?  Oh my yes.  I look forward to seeing the first one at the local Chevy dealership... I’ll have to see where that is....

I decided a long, long time ago standing around a fire, drinking moonshine, at a BMW motorcycle rally decades ago. I don’t care what gets me down the road, as long as it does. So be it electric, gas, nuclear fission or swamp gas.  As long as it goes, who cares?

God, I hope it comes in small, nimble, but tough.  Is that too much to ask?

Truly want one... but. Will it haul a motorcycle? A cord of firewood?

Live in NC, about 60 miles from the BMW factory in SC.

That’s my hood... silly humans. Don’t leave food in your cars in bear country. There are over 600 of ‘em in the city limits.

One more reason not to live in Florida.  I get a belly full of ‘em here in Western North Carolina.  I got hit in my $99 Suzuki Sidekick.  Honda wagon, out after a repair, tech rear ended me.  I got a check for $1599.00.  Bought blue Recaros on fleabay for $200, tubular steel powder coated bumpers front rear.  A 12

Same thing happened to a Chevrolet Dealership in Black Mountain NC. Group from...wait for it... Florida bought the dealership. Lasted about a year, then they basically “took the money and ran”. Dealership closed; no notice to mechanics are sales staff. Doors locked. Deals done, weren’t, etc.

Brings back a lot of memories. In high school, I had a ‘59 Willys Overland Wagon 4x4. All the “cool kids” had new Toyota Land Cruisers. Two things: 1) Willy’s got much better fuel economy. 2) Willys was slow. They used to make fun of me - until they got stuck. Then they were more than happy for my 12 forward gears and

Hate watching it, knowing that’ll never come across the pond.

Yes plus one on tax breaks for electric.  Wish they would include motorcycles, but Zero only shows 3 states that will give you a break.

I dunno. Victoria’s Secret didn’t come around until I was in my 20's... and I thought it was cheesy and creepy. It’s the dying playboy image of America, the puritan hell that it is. Look, don’t touch. And I don’t know what the hell it tells women about self image and expectations.  It’s like Spencer Gifts for the

Never, ever forget Karen Silkwood.

Kudos to Toyota.

I think I hear your mom calling.  You need to go home and learn some manners.
