When I was a punk 17 year old in College in Boone NC, we used to drink and go to shows at PB Scotts in Blowing Rock NC (RIP.. Geodesic Dome powered by Bose). There was a turquoise Dino that was in the area from time to time.  Stunningly beautiful.

Great car, no question. But who you gonna get to work on it? Or is it simply meant as garage art?

Bingo!

Was in Germany. While there, Audi Museum and manufacturing. This was 5 years ago. Even then, they had an E-tron, based on an A3 (prior to coming to the US). 200 mile range then.

Wrong part of the country.  I’ll buy from Texas, Nebraska, and other dry or semi dry places, but not in the rust belt.

I’ll raise you one.

Kudos to Audi for the electric SUV... I guess. Just put it in a fun to drive car (you know, low to the ground, say two doors and a hatch?)

I’d throw $5k at that.  Had no idea.  A beater AWD Van?  Perfect ski buggy, and you can sleep in it too.

Not really a fan of Vettes, but I’ll give ‘em their due: probably the most affordable super car for mortals. You can roll into any Chevrolet dealership and buy one.

Mom drove a Jeepster, Dad had a Forward Control, and I learned to drive in a ‘55 Willys Pickup.  My first car?  ‘59 Willys Overland Wagon 4x4, the great grand dad of all the SUVs blighting the sun today.

Gee, if Citroen had only taken over Saab.  But no, GM had to drive it into the ground.

I’m a biker.  Score one for the two wheel crowd.

This goes back years.  I was selling new BMW motorcycles.  Airheads and K-Bikes where on the floor, along with the new R1100RS.  Early 90's.  Had a customer who drove an RX7.  His was aluminum.  Older guy.  He drove it like he stole it.  Said “bugs will mar the aluminum at speed”  Thanks for bringing back an old

Figures it was Volkswagen... they want to distance themselves asap from diesel and get into electric in a big way.  Too bad they just don’t look to Audi... which has a lot of electric cars.

Bingo.  I flat wail on my Aprilia Scarabeo around downtown. Rock Star parking too.  Takes $4 in gas every two weeks.

After 300,000+ miles on two wheels (5 times across the US, Canada, NZ, OZ) I don’t need to stinking GPS.  Just a horizon, two good tires, and a full tank of gas.

Did anyone consider there are more cars built in the SouthEastern US than in Detroit?  Better weather, better infrastructure and a workforce that is ready.

For $3500 I’d buy it and drive it until it stopped.

Sigh. Having owned 3 Audi, all manual, looks like my TT Quattro Coupe will be my last manual.

As long as we are swinging for the trees... here’s mine. Same van used as a NY City Taxi.
