NY story. Other states have laws against it. Fix it New York.

Been thinking about his for a long time. Nothing strikes me as truly innovative, interesting, or worth throwing money at for the long haul.
Let’s hope that stupid light bar doesn’t make it to production. How are you going to haul anything with that in the way?
Agreed. Seating for three is all you need. Me, SWMBO, and a good dog in the middle. If you have haul yard apes around, buy a station wagon.
Can’t haul a sheet of plywood, can’t put a cord of wood in it, and hauling a motorcycle is out of the question.
I’m so tired of SUVs I could throw up. Can’t see past them, around them, or over them. It’s like staring at freaking billboard spewing toxic fumes. Regardless if I’m riding my scooter, motorcycles or driving my Audi TT... the same. And driving the SUV? Usually only one mouth breathing unnecessary eater driving.
Congrats! Take it easy, be careful and enjoy the scenery. Steady on.
Right up there with driving my ‘59 Willys Overland Wagon from Brevard NC to Snowshoe WV...in 1978.
The arrogant male is dead wrong.
Mom drove a Jeepster while I was in elementary school. ‘67 if I remember correctly. My dad had owned 50's Jeepsters before that.
Some reports she was “jay walking “ i.e. not where pedestrians should be.
Used to own an original first year ‘81 model. Full GTI interior, 5 speed. Lots of old school German build quality too. Thinking about it though... I had a garage and a tow strap when I owned it to. I still see it bombing around town...
Sold them when new. I kept thinking... “oh, that transformation is way complex...”. They did make them with the VR6 engine but only with paddles and auto. Plenty of “umph” but again, that top.... It might have been better if VW just had thrown a canvas top on it and called it good...
After working at The South Pole (yeah, really) a friend bought one in NZ. He had it for almost a year... and it was always down for one reason or another. They gave him his money back. Pass. $3000 of whoa and British engineering. Run!
Reminds me of my younger days when I owned a ‘71 Fiat 124 Sport Spider. It would run well, then shut off with no warning. For over 4 weeks that summer, we checked everything. It would run, then stop dead.
Back in the days when I was a VW/Audi/Porsche sales drone, we were taught in multiple classes, no tire on rear hatch. The rationale for it? No damage to the rear hatch with a rear hit. VW and Audi (Porsche too) always put them under the floor in the rear hatch area. Lift the cover, all your tools, jacks and spare tire…
Whew. Can’t wait for all the autonomous cars to show up. It’ll be a lot easier to ride my motorcycle as intended - with no cell phone talking coffee drinker pulling into my lane.
Remember to vote. It is the only way to get us out of this bizzaro world.
Vote. Just get the “money above all” Republicans out. Sooner is better.
VW going “down market” and Accords sitting on Honda lots.
