I totally agree. I have a 19 Golf R. To me it’s as close to a perfect car that there is. If you look at it, It’s not that much more than my sister’s new Rav4 with double the HP and much better handling and interior.

Given how much they cheapened out the MK8, I would see the price stay high on the MK 7.5 for awhile. I don’t see myself giving up my Mk 7.5 R for a long time. I think it’s about the high point of the VW/Audi lineup under 60K

You do realize if we went to a system like that, all we would see is a bunch of rich people renouncing their citizenship in favor of one of the 2-3 other ones they have right?

Cash means no worries about appraisals. Most contracts for FHA mortgages are written where there can be a price renegotiation if the property does not meet appraised values. So if there is no appraisal, then there is no worry about potentially getting the offer reduced. When I sold recently, I didn’t look at any offer

Totally agree. I sold my house for top dollar in April. Over $175K than I paid for it 2 years prior with no money invested into it. 11 offers. Were there letter written? Yes. Did they end up straight in the trash? Yes. Sorry I’m a business man and in sales. I really don’t care who lives in my house next. All I cared

They missed the easy one...IT sales. Almost any outside sales job will six figures with senior people in the $200K+ range even in low cost of living places like Omaha where I’m at.

It takes maybe 30 minutes to remove the spoiler. 2 bolts and a soft blow hammer and it’s loose. Not a huge deal. It’s more all of the rest of the gawdy add ons that I’d have to remove as well.

That’s fine for commercial use. There will always be a need for the heavy duty trucks for that market.

Well, I think that locks me in as having one as my second car. I can not stand any of those and the first thing I spend time doing is turning all of that stuff off in every rental car I get. I find them more distracting than helpful.

Ohhhhh yeah. I’ve never done anything in a miata with a girl. haha. It’s not that hard just have to be creative.

Totally agree on that. I just bought the clone to my HS ride, an 85 GT red with T-Tops for $11K and I thought that was top of market. I paid up for a rust free SE car and under 100K miles but still have to redo a lot of stuff including the weather striping which is literally just breaking off in my hands because the

That Evo has bounced around for a long time. Too bad it’s been driven hard and put up wet with a lot of rust. It sold on Cars and bids for $11.5K last year and the lucky winner put it up for sale 3 weeks later. Most in the community that have looked at it feel it’s worth about half that much.

That’s exactly what happened when I sold my house on the front range. I had 11 offers in 1 day and took the one with no appraisal to guarantee the loan went through. Made $150K in 18 months and my new house is paid for.

I guess someone hasn’t been to one of his own facilities in a long while. All of the Copart facilities I’ve been to have a large percentage of Hispanics as their workforce. I bet that has to make his workforce just happy as heck to see their CEO funding stuff like this.

Totally agree. No offense, It’s Omaha. Not exactly the mecca for fun driving. I know I live here. My GSR is fun because it’s a GSR and is always fun. Most of the driving is on T-square straight roads. There is a reason pony cars are popular here.

If ford really cared, They would make orders non-transferable. Otherwise, if someone absolutely wants one that bad that they are willing to piss away the extra just to have something 6-12 months earlier then that’s their call. Personally I would never do that but that is just me.

Ahhh....The joys of having access to a good corporate contract. $31 a day for full size anywhere in the nation even for personal use. Got an expedition for a $140 for the week right now. Deals are out there. Leverage your corporate contracts.

Honestly, As a rider for 10 years I thought the same thing till I got a Miata and then a Boxster. Now with the crap infrastructure and drivers who don’t pay attention I have had no desire to ride and now the bike is long since sold and I can still drive my Boxster and Miata daily regardless of the weather. Miata on

My 210K Miles VTEC Integra disagrees with that statement. As long as it’s maintained, miles are a much less of a concern than the stone ages. I still bounce it off the rev limiter as much now as I did when it was new 20 years ago. 162K miles is just broken in.

Do it the right way and get a LS3 miata. Find one that Flyin Miata did the swap on and go to town. In swapped form, it’ll be just over 400 HP and just under 400 FT/LB of Torque and a weight of 2500ish LB for the NA/NB or ND and about 2650 for the NC.
