Long beach is already packed to the gills.  It’s not going to draw more people. That would actually hurt Indy Car a lot. 

They don’t have to remove it. Daytona has a world class road course already in place. Have the 500 on the oval and the 400 on the road course. Problem solved. 

All of the races that IMSA and World Challenge has done over the years at street courses have caused so many cars through the barriers.

It won't for long. If you spend too much time in downtown or Intercity Houston in a truck, it'll get stolen and end up in central America by the end of the week anyways.

They did. Here is the problem that I always had with cabs when I lived in Austin. They would always deny me a ride home because it was too far away. (just at the NW edge of Austin. So more than once I’d go downtown and have a bitch of a time getting a ride home until basically I felt like I was the last person…

I’ve changed bushings and shocks on all of my cars in the low 100K range. They are wear items and need to be replaced. usually tie rods and ball joints are out of spec by then too.

It’s all about rolling the dice. Yes you can buy a decent car off CL for $6K As someone who can work on his own cars and hasn’t taken a car to the shop outside of warranty work in 15 years, it’s not a problem. I can keep any one of those cars running probably pretty cheap for 3 years.

I agree. It’s a sport and not the Full Sized Montero so none of the really good 4X4 hardware here. It’s in good condition and they can last a long time but I can pick up a full sized Montero with the factory lockers and less miles just down the street from me in SUV crazied Colorado for the same price.

They did that already. Did you ever see a base Mitsubishi Mirage back in the day? No radio, A/C was port only, No passenger’s side mirror. Plastic that broke looking at it.

Easy answer.....no.I was just in Miami and had a few minutes to check it out and drove the proposed circuit. and that was enough to say heck no. They just added a street circuit in Hanoi....Do we need another no passing tight quarters street race?

LOL.....Long beach is the busiest race weekend of the year at any track in the world. They run things all day long for 3 days. They can’t clear the track fast enough to get the next series on the track for 3 days straight.
