Well, next time someone mentions how (insert competing tablet here)'s camera is better than the iPad's, just show them this to explain why it doesn't actually matter all that much. Seriously, who uses their tablet as a camera?

How loud is it? I got a Mac mini because it's virtually silent, which is nice since I use it as an HTPC.

The Nexus S wasn't, really, unless you're only considering software. In terms of hardware, it was basically identical to the Samsung Galaxy S, which was something like eight months old at that point. (Which is not to say it's a bad phone, since that's definitely not the case.)

WOLFPAC!!! WHOOOOOO!!!!

This would almost be excusable if a bunch of garage developers working for free hadn't already achieved this.

It's pretty common here, really, except that it's generally dumbphones or lower-end/older model smartphones. A newer model smartphone can be anywhere from $100-300 on contract. Our monthly rates are nowhere near that cheap, however. I bought my current phone off contract, and my plan is still $60 a month (500 minutes,

They should really just combine iTunes and App Store into a single app.

Last I checked, makeup could do that with ease and far more believably than this.

I'm a little confused, but isn't Android built on the GPL Linux kernel and, as such, any software built with it has to also be released under the GPL? (I'm not being snarky - this OSS stuff mostly confuses me.)

It would be awesome if I could get Home Share to work from outside networks.

Download the update over the air, don't start until download completes. Let user decide if they want to install NOW or wait till they're near their computer in case of failure. It's not terribly difficult in concept.

It's not a doughnut if you're not leaving black streaks and a ton of smoke.

Because it would add a lot of unnecessary weight (not to mention fill storage space) to do something mostly pointless? Not to mention RWD/AWD cars are much less common now than they were in 1950, so they'd have to run a bunch of stuff to the rear in FWD cars.

Right, because the person who sent it in lied about what it says. Since that would gain them so much.

He's just a bird watcher.

It's Apple's fault that Adobe won't let you use the same software on multiple machines? And come one, as a Linux user, you should know better than to buy DRMed music.

More importantly, I can do it with my Mac Mini that I have connected to my TV as an HTPC.

A quick look suggests that the movie lineup is pretty similar to what Netflix offers. Nice value-add for Prime, though.

Hey man, someone could go out wanting to buy a pickup truck and accidentally buy a racecar. It could happen! Really!

I'm sorry I didn't make it clear enough initially!
