Honestly, it’s kind of hard to judge this movie. Like, in any other year, I’d probably say it was middling, at best, but in the morass we’re in right now, it’s kind of exactly the movie I needed to watch.

Easy way to not be transphobic: Trans-women are women, trans-men are men, and it’s not your business to say otherwise.

This is just such awful, awful news. He was so incredibly talented, and far, far too young. I think another person could have played T’Challa, but it took someone like Boseman to absolutely own the role with the poise and regal bearing that he did.

That episode will literally make you get all misty-eyed over Solomon Grundy, of all characters.

It’s a combination of 2D and early CGI. Most of the movements were hand drawn, and the pattern was overlaid on the cel animation using CGI.

I was REALLY REALLY REALLY hoping that this episode would end with a S.T.R.I.P.E. vs. Grundy cliffhanger, because COME ON.

That’s one of my favorite Awkward Zombie strips, just the intense gaze of hatred from Phoenix as he tells Apollo to eat his AUTHENTIC LOS ANGELES hamburgers.

God, this game is so phenomenally gorgeous and relaxing to play. Sure, there’s not a lot of traditional “game” there, at least insofar as obstacles/enemies to overcome, but exploring that space, discovering new sea life, and just interacting with that world on even a rudimentary level is an incredible experience.

It definitely found its audience on Network and Cable TV. Like, this was a constant fixture on like the “Sunday Afternoon Movie” on my local FOX affiliate when I was growing up. This and Legend, actually. Tim Curry connection? Who knows. But I’ve watched this movie dozens of times, and I’ll watch it dozens of times…
