The dude is super funny and still alive, yet some folks want to act as if he died already. Fuck that. I’m here to celebrate the dude and have some fun. Jokes are good, like the joke he made in his own announcement.

One way is not better than the other, and there is no “correct” way to mourn the passing of another person.

there are wakes and there are funerals. some people face mortality with sadness, but others go out in a show of how much they live. Yeah. I want to celebrate how cool and funny the dude is. He literally makes a joke about his situation in his announcement video. He doesn’t want folks mourning him while he is still alive and kicking ass. He has a great sense of humor and I wanted folks to have some fun with Trebek after such a sad bit of news.
