My Tacoma does the same thing. If I have both of the driver windows down I not only don’t get hammered by wind through the front window, but it creates a swirling effect that hits me with air from both sides.
It’s kinda tricky to make a super-lightweight car that passes crash tests. Well, not while keeping it affordable for the average joe, that is.
