Neither of those numbers is “conservative.” A Tesla Model 3 Performance weighs 4,050lbs. An AWD BMW M3 weighs... 3,950. A Porsche Taycan Turbo S weighs 5,100lbs. A Panamera E Hybrid? 5,300lbs. Yes, cars have gotten heavy, but it’s not an EV thing. It’s a cars are getting heavy thing.

I couldn’t agree more. I did something like this many years ago when trying to get from Oslo to Vienna for a reasonable price. It was a bit different though - a round trip was cheaper than a one-way trip so I booked the round trip and didn’t take the flight back to Oslo.

It’s combined still with 3 electric motors. It’ll prob be around 1200hp from the V8 and an additional 1100 (idk how the whole total output works) from electric.
