yes, because naming a car BrandName FourDoor seems lazy and cheap. While I don’t think Ghibli means anything in Italian, maybe it’s better that way?
starred for homebrew solution part. My biggest fear/complaint about all of these upcoming infotainment setups is long term support. I feel like there are a lot of car-makers that will not have any “classics” available from the last 10-20 years because of technologies or design decisions that are not supportable.
And we kept the worse name of the two, because heritage something something. Italians are terrible at naming things...
Just remember, “everybody” says that in Italian, Ferrari LaFerrari has “such a musical quality to it”
I feel like the dealers that still held on to these and were still asking well above sticker even after they were discontinued due to poor sales.... it’s like the professional equivalent of “I know what I got, no lowballs.”
The yellow splitter covers are especially funny, since they are basically “shipping bumpers” to keep the splitter from getting scratched at the corners in transit. At some point some dealers forgot to take them off, then people started thinking they were cool, even knowing what they are.
Is it the car version of…
I’m sure you and I are not the only ones that thought this. I hope someone buys one and changes the wing uprights to look like Batmobile fins....
In a way, it does kind of have a jet engine, since the exhaust for the aero fans is dead center in the back of the car, just like the GMA T.50. Even if it doesn’t supply…
Ferrari should embrace self driving tech with a heads up display. Use it to map optimum lines on racetracks like Forza. Offer it only on “XX” models to start and charge a premium for it.
Done. Ferrari now has self driving tech.
I actually really love this. And I say this as someone who has mixed feelings about Cadillac’s styling (their recent efforts are pretty good, though). Some people on the social media are saying it’s ugly, but it addresses one of my chief complaints about prototype racecars which is that they usually are almost devoid…
These things are sooooo cool, I would love to have one. I hate that they’re so expensive and limited supply.
This just in:
NOAA predicts rise in sea levels, no one listens or bothers to prepare.

I 100% agree that the “well-to-wheel” efficiency and overall pollution needs to be considered in every scenario. If the transport could somehow use renewable ethanol, especially E100, it would be a great counterpoint or alternative to EV’s. I could foresee a heavy equipment drivetrain that used E100 to run a generator…
85 is the ethanol content, which IS renewable. 15% is the not renewable part. [although, if you look up the definition of E85, it could be up to 51% ethanol max. still not 85%]
I believe jrhmobile was referring to the relative speed of your own vehicle based on it’s engine noise at a high speed vs it’s own engine noise at a lower speed, not your speed/engine noise vs. anyone else’s. Reread the comment.
But also, yes. Harleys are loud and dumb.
The best piece of fan fiction I’ve ever read. Thank you.
I see your homunculus research continues apace.
First thing I thought of as well.
As someone who prefers GT racing, this is very funny to me. You want a symmetrical setup? Force compliance through track configuration. Stop making left turns the only turns, eliminating or at least mitigating the advantage of an asymmetrical setup. You wouldn’t even have to change the track exactly, make everyone pit…
you had me in the first half, but I lost it at Senna. Have a star.
