It was a call about how black people need to be more sensitive to white people. It’s simply not fair to hold Papa J to a higher standard than Colonel L, and hey, they need to appreciate the fact that he personally never dragged anybody from his car. Where’s the gratitude?

My wife was so impressed with him, and his goal, and when he stepped up to take the penalty she was like, “well this guy is obviously gonna score.” Hah! Stupid woman no know sports thing.

Sorry, I thought this was one of the worst games of the competition so far. Yes, there was drama. But it was mostly “we can fork it up worse than you can fork it up” variety. Very little skill on show. Not much competence. Rakitic was invisible until the very last penalty kick of the tie.

Having said that, Russia left

You know that it’s rude to use Nazi analogies until you actually see the smoke from the gas chamber chimneys.

Agreed. I couldn’t tell if this was a serious Trumpian rant, or a parody of a Trumpian rant.

Yes, but my privilege has eroded slightly over the last century and it hurts.

Also, somebody told me I had privilege.

Does mansplaining and whitesplaining make it more sufferable?

“I’d like to nominate people that talk about and treat their pets as if they are actual children.”
People who talk about their children, period. But particularly people who think their children are as interesting as pets.

It’s almost like, “Hey I’m a real cop now, where can I go shoot me some black people to celebrate?” (Except obviously, “black people” not the exact words used.)

The case would be that the Marlins were doing what they had to do to discourage teams from throwing at their hitters with impunity.

The Giants were doing it because they felt bad that Hunter Strickland humiliated himself.

Is that you, John Bender?

“Could someone please enlighten me as to what the fuck white civil rights are?”

I got this (partial list):
The right to subjugate people of color.
The right to physically, verbally or emotionally assault people of color for any reason at any time.
The right to maintain spaces (coffee shops, colleges, parks, neighborhoods)

Can you imagine how privileged and entitled you must be if you believe that you can torture children like a monster during the day and then step out into polite society as if you were a human being in the evening?

We have to make it clear that these people are not fit to walk the same streets, breathe the same air,

“Human beings should treat innocent human children as if they are human, because they are.”

Typical liberal!

Who’s really to blame, the family striving the create a better life for themselves and their children in a country that fooled them into believing it was the “land of the free” or a cruel administration that arbitrarily deiced to use child torture in order to score political points? FTFY.

“America in 2018 is obviously not Nazi Germany”

Well, it’s obviously not the Nazi Germany of 1939. But how far is it from the Nazi Germany of 1933, when hateful rhetoric was leading to attempts at forced deportation? Are we supposed to wait for the smoke to start coming out of the oven chimneys before we’re allowed to

“White Man Goes On Racist Tirade.”

At this point, this a real “dog bites man” headline.

Seriously, we should start posting videos of white men reacting with grace and equanimity to the presence of black people in their “white spaces.” The headline, “White Man Accepts Presence of Black People Without Spewing Hate” would

The Germans have been counterattacked in Russia before—it didn’t end well then, either.

If you were a free agent, why wouldn’t you want to sign for a team that has the ability to turn the most minor of niggles into a career-ending injury?

“In all honesty, I’m rooting for the 31 countries in this tournament who aren’t Mexico.”

Trump supporter? And an “Archer” fan? That’s some heavy dissonance.
