I basically did the same thing. My first planet was a lush jungle world as was all the other planets in that system. I spent like 20 hrs maxing out inventory making money and upgrading my omnitool. I was already finding plus 5 weapon mods on my starting world. Honestly plutonium is so abundant in the game it is easier

To be fair that is what any hobby can do for you if you want to spend money on it. Consoles cost more money in the long run when you factor in the price of games and having to pay just to play with your friends. At least with PC you have the option to build any type of sytem you want, have full backwards

It feel like a number of issues led to this game being released in an unfinished state missing a lot of promised features and not looking near as good as the trailers. I think the biggest reason was probably time constraints and them feeling the pressure form Sony to just get the game to market and as far as things

That guy actually spent like $1300! Most people feel screwed spending $60 for a game that is a $20 indie title but that guy must really feel dumb regardless of the fact he says he does not care about the money.

I can’t wait to play around with this. I already have some amazing looking screen shots but now every one does not have to be Geralt’s back or face close up. Can actually take some cool looking landscape shots now.

The first planet I started on was a lush Jungle world with a good amount of diff medium sized species. Second and third planets in same system were also a jungle and I found an animal larger the than largest elephant with Gigantic ram horns on its head and armor plating on its back. I was surprised to find somthing so

Yes that is the exact point they should have been explicit in saying hey we wanted mp but we couldn’t do it in time or we removed it or my dog jumped on my keyboard and erased it or whatever the fuck happened. Instead they blamed it on server issues and insinuated it “should” work as they said it would. Then

That is great but guess how much it cost at launch....the same price as NMS! 60$. So my point is that if you sell a game at AAA prices you should at least freakin optimize it. Considering NMS is way less graphically intense it should be running a hell of a lot better on enthusiast grade PC hardware.

Thats not the problem, the problem is that it is not multiplayer in ANY sense. They said on more than one occasion that if you ran into another player however unlikely that is you could see each other and that has already be proven completly false by players and data miners as well who have found zero mp code at all

I agree that MP is really not that important in this game but on principle I don’t think people should defend devs when they straight up lie about features and shadily dodge questions or just flat out refuse to answer them at all. They should have just come out and said that the feature did not make the cut and will

I haven’t really had many too performance issues on the PC version. I am about 20 hrs in and the worst I have seen is some frame rate dip but it is always about a constant 55-60 fps or more. I have yet to have any crashes at all and come to think of it I forgot to DL the Nvidia game ready drivers (I’ll prob do that

I think the problem is that with the closed console eco system they are having a super hard time convincing Sony to allow user generated content to be downloaded on their proprietary cash box. Console manufactures have literally no cash incentive to do so and I imagine convincing them is a rather uphill battle.

Are you playing on PS4 or PC because I have like zero load time with the game on my SSD. It is somewhere around 4 secs maybe. The FoV options are a lifesaver as well. Having it set to 90 makes it a lot easier to look around while flying and getting ready to land.

I know what you mean but he made it clear it was in no way a multiplayer game nor should it be thought of as one. They said the odds were infinitesimal you would run into anyone. Maybe with future patches and base building things will change.

If that was “the entire reason you were voing to buy this” you have not been paying attention at all.

Since the mushrooms made you reset twice and you got away only after blasting it the third time wouldn’t it be Jason 1 mushroom 2?....Anyway, serious question, when they do add base building could you see anyone actually sticking around a planet or star system long enough to even use a base. It seems like that might

Maybe they dont want anyone accidentally stumbling on a hidden nuclear site looking for a Pokemon.

I am playing a few things on and off. Starting the Hearts of Stone expansion in The Witcher 3 and working towards Blood and Wine. Also started a new tribe with a friend on a server with the Center map on Ark which I hadn’t played on yet and is pretty awesome so far (much better than the Island). On Sunday If I have

It’s those extra armor plates on the greaves that make them look like that. They do look a bit weird though.

Why would you delay it if you have a launch patch ready to go? All that would do is piss people off even more.
