Yea, you have that completely backwards. Deciding where and how the game is sold and it's marketing strategy is exactly what the publisher does. The dev's have little to no say on what exclusivity deals are signed.

There are some really good graphical mods for this game actually. GeDoSaTo is the most popular, developed by the same guy who made DSfix for DS1. The PC version looks way better than console already and runs at 60 FPS but that mod makes it even better.

I have heard the rumors of this supposed "soft banning" as well but judging by how many people are still hacking it does not seem to be very effective. The worst are these assholes that go into a PVP area put down summon signs and then when summoned walk around doing stupid gestures and have infinite health or your

Great piece man. The fact that our county has already become, and is an ever increasing police state is really sobering. The police are in effect becoming small private army's who as you said are out to search and destroy rather than serve and protect. Growing up in the NYC tri-state area I have seen the change

I wonder where that sentiment comes from?

Damn this looks awesome. I was really hoping for Dead Nation 2 because Dead Nation was one of my favorite PS3 exclusives last gen but this looks to be pretty similar. Hopefully they will still make DN2 as well.

I know I was kidding, read the other comments.

I know, I was just kidding really. Besides there would not be much of a story if they did that.

They should have at least flown like 3/4 of the way there and then walked.

I'm pretty jaded on COD at this point and skipped Ghosts altogether but I have to say this does look kind of fun. Looks like they mixed the best parts of BLOPS2 (the perk system) with some of the best parts of MW and threw some TitanFall into the mix. I wish they would add a co op spec ops mode with some good stealth

I love Linux but as a gamer it is no way ideal yet seeing as you can only play like 1% of available Steam games. And before you say WINE....fuck wine. Linux and Steam OS has a damn long way to go before I would even consider it as a gaming option. Whats the point of an OS that can't run 99% of good games. It will

A rampant gang of Elvis impersonators?

Lol, I don't want anything cutting edge going in my dick either. I'm picturing some dude suspended by wires hooked up to a PC that breathes for him and has I.V bags hanging off of it while he screams at people "get a life you fucking noob!!"

Holy shit! That one guy has 7,573 hrs on record. I wonder if his PC doubles as a life support machine and he just has his nutrients slow dripped through an I.V.

As others have said that is the exact point of training, to learn to do things by muscle memory and complete instinct with minimal thought involved. That is the basis of almost all spec ops and high level operator training.

They should have gave them some new outfits to match. They could have gone with preppy douche bag Mario with a sweater tied around his shoulders and maybe gangster Luigi with some baggy pants and a giant gold chain. It would really add some menace to the death stare. On the real this shit is pretty lame though.

That shit does get annoying. They didn't compensate the animation speed of enemies or the player to 60 FPS. It def takes some getting used to for timing. The durability thing can be a pain in the ass but since bonfires restore durability and the are pretty plentiful and you have fast travel it's not that bad.

I have also played on consoles all my life and have a PS3 and a PC and will prob get a PS4. I know the limitations and differences of them all and agree with what your saying about just wanting it to be accessible but these days any AAA title and most indies are pretty much click one button in Steam and plug and play

I don't think it is coming down to the difficulty of making multiple versions since all the systems it will be released on are using X86 Pc architecture. It's not like the entire game has to be re written like it would if it was developed for the PS3. They got offered timed exclusive money and could not resist. In

The beauty of gaming on PC is the openness and access to 1000's of indie titles as well as AAA and PC exclusives. The down side is having to wade through a mountain of shit to find out what is really good sometimes. Thankfully another benefit of gaming on PC and Steam in general is direct access to the community hub,
