Agree, I don’t know why they have that inward horizontal bit on the hatch. Hopefully they might tone that bit down on the facelift....if that ever comes...

The Aston Martins have lost a bit of their late-2000s perfection. They’re still good, but the original Henrik Fisker designs were the perfect blend of elegance, simplicity, and muscularity. The new DB11 and stuff are just a bit too overwrought.

They have the opposite of perfect weight distribution - as anyone will tell you they are exceptionally nose-heavy. So luck is a pretty good guess.
