I’m really not 100% sure what the back-and-forth tone is doing here. “Is publishing this a good idea or a bad idea, who knows; she has publicly demonstrated a desire to change but is change even possible; cancel culture is bad, she’s canceled; I don’t want to insult her, she’s a grifter.

Did you just write a 4,500 word story about how a young woman who has become a figurehead for the resistance for other young women once wrote some bitchy anonymous emails when she was 23?

can anyone give a TLDR? I got about a third of the way through before I gave up looking for the thread

For the love of God, it’s an indisputable and widely evidenced fact that Latina women are at the bottom of the food chain, pay-wise.

Thrilled to tears for my man D. Rose, to score 50, to attack and deliver like it was 2011...drives, 3s, a hook, a deflection at the end...

A story is posted about a 15-year-old girl being sexually groomed by her mentor and your response is “But she became a stripper!”

OH and one more thing I just realized...can we also address the true horror story at the heart of this tale? No, not the crazy man bricking himself up in the basement, it’s the lonely little girl who was imprisoned in a tiny, isolated cabin in the woods, left alone *all day* while her parents went to work at a place

I’m sorry but WHAT ABOUT AUNT JANET?! How can people go on and on (and on and on and on) about family, closeness, commitment, the bond of blood and totally forget about the apparently single woman living her own life who had the time and resources to take in *five* children and raise them to be basically competent

I pretty entirely think people are missing the thing the show is trying to say, especially in the context of the last episode. Gonna try and explain my perspective.

“Hey man, EA always finds out.”

The expectation gap in St. Louis between the Cardinals and the Blues is unbelievably large. Although I’m starting to wonder which organization has the better executives. The Blues don’t take the fanbase for granted (See free food at Blues games when the team was dog’s ass awful) and are constantly competitive with 1/8

I thought it was traditional for Gawker to be owned by a self-satisfied shitlord?

“ because it’s a structurally questionable movie with some bad writing and underdeveloped (or underused) characters.”

I’ll try spinning! That’s a good trick!

And everybody get’s rescued by, let’s say, Moe.

Was Guy Boucher involved in some way?

Er, anyone else thinking this review is missing a concluding sentence or two? It starts so beautifully, with the eaten-Crowe gag, but then just slams to a halt with no warning?

I realize Deadspin loves shitting on the Cardinals and I’m wasting keyboard strokes, but this statement is not passive-aggressive in any way, and is just a communication of fact to Cardinal fans that Stanton is not coming.
